TRAVEL DIARY: PRAGUE – The Old Town - Part 2

-ITA-

Lest's continue with the posts about mu last travel in Prague.

The major part of the spots to visit in Prague are around the Old Town square and betwenn yhis ans the river.

Following the road to St. Charles Bridge, the most famous bridge of the city, is almost everything at your fingertips, from Clementinum to National Theater, plus many intersting churches.

About churches, since to visit the most beautiful you have to pay the entrance, it is worth knowing that once a year, in June, they keep them open all night and the entrance is free (we 've knew it for very chance): it would be better to see them with the sunlight but since that in this period the night falls around 10 pm there is enough time to visit many of them with a good light!
However in the end we have visited so many churches that I do not even remember what they call: the fact is that you never know what you you can found inside (since the outer architecture does not offer cues) so we always gave a peek inside! ^-^

A bit more distant from the Old Town there is S.Wenceslas Square, characterized by many beautiful Art Nouveau palaces and then the Dancing House (the name says it long about its architecture), which is the only thing to see at the limit of The Old Town and the new town: although not very close to the center, is easily reached by a pleasant stroll along the river.
