OOTD: Male white shirt

Although, like almost every girl, I've already got quite a number of white shirts of all kinds in the closet, sometimes I happen to buy some new, basically beacause just a detail can radically change the aspect of this cloth.Lately I'm obsessed with men's shirts, I really like they fit and you can wear them in many occasions and different ways.the problem is that i'm quite thin and on me they look all very huge, especially on the shoulders ... This until a few days ago, when at Zara I got the enlightenment: why not give it a try in the kids department? So I started to looking, and I found the one in the pictures!I took it anyway a little abundant (that would mean for 13-14 years: how big are kids, nowadays ???) and once at home I wanted to try it immediately, taking advantage of my friend who was with me to take pictures! ^^I must say I was quite happy with the purchase, what do you think about? :)

White shirt: the new trends

Until recent times it was the prerogative of men, today the white shirt is a basic cloth present in the closets of all women, interpreted and worn in various styles, from the most casual to the most chic.
And despite the years this piece is a true evergreen, managing to reinterpret itself from time to time: and there are many proposals even for this spring-summer 2015 with different shades and styles, which reiterate the good fortune of a garment comfortable but sensual, perfect for any occasion .
Form the classic cut with stiff collar to wear under vests and cardigans to the military version, rigid and with front pockets. Or transparent and chic revisited in voile and lace, to match the skirt of the same fabric.
Then the one made of silk with classic cut, to wear with a male suit that remind a Hollywood diva or the romantic version but with a modern interpretation, the lengths are shortened showing the belly and the fabric is embellished with ruffles.

White shirt story

A basic garment back in women's wardrobe for spring-summer 2015: the white shirt, a piece that made history – and recently was the star of the exhibition dedicated to Gianfranco Ferre - much loved by women, and reinterpreted by designers almost every season.
Initially it was worn at the time of the bath, when shared between man and woman, then it becomes the cloth to separate the clothing of heavy fabric to the naked body; gift and token of love in the Middle Ages, and at the end of the seventeenth century, when it was adorned with lace, it became a very status symbol that divided the aristocracy by the mob.

Around 1860 it began to appear colored shirts, at the beginning only for day wear, while for the evening remained mandatory the white shirt.
During the twenties was very fashionable the so-called button down shirt, with the neck stopped by two frontal buttons.

Worn and then made famous by the Hollywood stars in the forties, like Ava Gardner with a model with short sleeves, and then Lauren Bacall that wore a male white shirt in Key largo; in the fifties is up to Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, that wore it with rolled-up sleeves and collar turned up.

THE WHITE SHIRT

What are the must haves that every woman should own, that go beyond the seasons, moons and trends impromptu? We know all more or less the list: the camel coat, jeans, the deco black, the trenchcoat, the lbd ... and can’t miss a man's white shirt.
Just like the cardigan, better if stolen from the closet of your boyfriend, but it's OK even if you buy it a few extra measure.
The shape must be simple and masculine (stay away from the slim fit!) To enhance the femininity but with class. Then you can choose if you feel more Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction or the type of woman that from season to season the catwalks suggest us.
